Series: Decentralized Learning Experiences
A learning experience can be almost anything, and any licensed clinician can propose one. It can be about a paper, a book or a movie. It can tackle an idea, such as field theory or dream analysis or focus on the work of a theorist. The format can be didactic or it can be a leaderless seminar or a one-hour conversation. It can be a one-off event or a series of weekly, biweekly, or monthly meetings. Currently, this program is in its pilot stage, so certain limits may apply.
Psychoanalytic Inquiry’s Learning Experiences are free.
Not all events are recorded. When we record an event it can be found in the archive.

Introduction to Bionian field theory
September 30th at 6:00 – 7:30 PM PT
October 7th at 6:00 – 7:30 PM PT
Description
This seminar offers an introduction to Bionian field theory. We will meet twice for an hour and a half each session and explore together basic concepts of field theory. Some of the concepts include field, linking, WE- ness, transformations and development of functions for symbolizing, narrativizing and dreaming. We will cultivate field sensibilities and a listening to the unconscious co-created field phenomenon that is more than the sum of its isolated components.
Presenter

Shir is an Associate Editor at Psychoanalytic Inquiry and the creator and host of Connections and Conversation. Shir also organizes the Decentralized Learning Experiences at Psychoanalytic inquiry.
